I have been able to uncover the location of one of the Order safe houses. It appears that people were living there and may yet be, so I suggest we act quickly.

We have been fortunate to have an interesting opportunity that has fallen into our hands. I currently have one Remus Lupin held prisoner and have been taking advantage of our time together to question him regarding his illustrious colleagues.
The question, of course, is what we should wish to do with him, outside of the obvious sorts of questions. I think it likely that he knows a great deal more about the Order than he is currently sharing and as I am a patient individual, I have given him time. However, I find my patience is wearing somewhat thin, so I am quite willing to encourage him more strongly to share information, but is there something specific we would like to obtain from him?

I do have to say that I like your new schedule quite a bit. You must thank Miss Greengrass for her extraordinary abilities in that regard.
I am thinking perhaps an evening dinner at our home might be a good idea within the next month. What do you think?

The journals are quite quiet recently. I do not believe that indicates we are so fortunate as to have lost all those who would dare to fight against us, so the question is if the silence is because they are planning - and if so, what they are planning.

I think it is very likely time for us to begin working with the younger generation. While I do not wish to step on anyone's toes, I have seen comments here are there that have concerned me. For instance, comments regarding the uselessness of the slave rehabilitation program come to mind and it makes me believe that they do not understand our true desire is to see culture spread throughout all of the Wizarding World. Or that it is better to have individuals whom are members of a free society once again rather than actively working against us and creating a drain upon the Ministry's coffers. Or, of course, that we will not be rehabilitating hopeless cases.
These things should be easily apparent but they are not which means that it is our responsibility to ensure that they are well known. It does no good to work towards improvement in the Ministry when our own still speak ill of Ministry initiatives.
I am uncertain of how best to proceed, but a change is necessary. Perhaps it is best to simply begin by reminding them of what we have fought for, and that of which we must continue to be cognizant.

As I am certain that Bellatrix will be fine the adventure was well worth it. However it would have been more well worth it if we had managed to take one or two of them with the clinic something I'm not certain we managed to do.

Bellatrix is quite right of course. If a member of the Inner Circle can be captured and yet the younger children believe the war is won, what is to be done? Those of us who lived through the terror of imprisonment have not done so to allow these young ones to throw away the Dark Lord's vision, our vision, and the better world that adherence to the old ways will bring. How is it possible to make it more obvious that the work is not done?
Clearly, if they complain of nothing to do, they ought to be given something to do. Something worth their while, and which will promote their devotion to the cause one should hope. Although I should just as soon herd dragons than attempt to work with ungrateful youth the need is clear and thus, so is my duty.

I have always thought one of the most enjoyable aspects of travelling is returning home at the end of one's journey. When comfortable one tends to take such conveniences for granted, but being away from home, no matter how adequate the surroundings or friendly the people does make you appreciate the return to familiarity all the more.
